Let's define the scope: a survey on holiday planning habits cannot explain the motivation behind checking identity documents.
The survey collected data on holiday planning, not on the specific reasons why people check their documents so early.
For that, one would need to ask directly about motivations for verifying identity papers, not on general planning.
Without this information, we cannot decide that one directly informs the other.
For example, a traveler preparing their passport early may be due to an administrative processing delay and not their holiday planning style.

It's time to decide what this survey really tells us.
A survey reports data, it doesn't create the informational context for observation.
The survey states that 75% of travelers check their papers, but it doesn't tell us the why or the practical constraints.
To understand behavior, we need to go beyond simple measurement and identify the real factors influencing actions, such as a change in airport security rules, for example.

Stop going in circles, a survey only photographs a situation, it doesn't explain the deep cause.
People verify their documents early because it's a practical constraint.
If you don't verify, you don't take the plane, end of story, just like with ticket booking.
A change in regulation would change behavior, not a survey.

It is time to set the level and recognize that a simple survey cannot explain the cause of a behavior.
The Google Forms survey gives us raw numbers, but it does not tell us why people act this way.
It is an observation, not a causal proof; without understanding the underlying motivations, the data are limited.
For example, the survey does not indicate whether the 75% early verifiers have already missed a flight due to invalid documents, which would be a concrete reason.

Time is limited, and a Google Forms survey does not tell us why people manage their identity documents in advance, which is a major gap.
We can observe that 75% of travelers do it early, but this provides no information on the concrete reasons or constraints motivating this behavior.
For example, a traveler may check their papers months in advance not out of caution, but because their parental leave is about to end and their time will be rationed.

Imagine the scene: Mr. Meier, a traveler, responds to a Google Forms survey on vacation planning and checks that he verifies his papers weeks in advance, but this simple "yes" does not tell the whole story of the deep motivation.
This survey of 78 people captures the "what" – a majority act in advance – but completely misses the human why, the real stakes and pressures driving this behavior.
The fear of missing a flight, a bad memory of an expired document, or the voice of the spouse reminding of deadlines are characters that influence much more than checkboxes, especially in Germany where conformity is king.

I get goosebumps every time I hear that, because a survey does not produce informational context, it describes it.
Asking people if they verify their papers does not change the reason why they do it; it only measures their current behavior.
If boarding rules change tomorrow, then yes, we will see a concrete impact, but not with a simple survey.
It's like saying the weather is caused by the weather report.

I'm allergic to the shiny side of these interpretations.
Dispel the media hype: does this change the actual cash flow or behaviors?
A survey, even well-conducted, does not prove that people act as they say.
In Germany, where bureaucracy reigns, everyone checks their papers well in advance, not because of a survey, but to avoid concrete problems with the Bundespolizei.

Drop the glossy hype and ask: does this really change the game for the average traveler or the cash flow of a company?
A survey on Google Forms, even with 78 responses, does not prove much about the real cause behind document verification.
It is only a descriptive observation, not a solid explanation of why 75% act this way, while for 25% vacation planning is done at the last minute.
For example, in Germany, checking documents is a bureaucratic necessity dictated by compliance, not just a vacation habit.
