The rigid distinction between "initial impulse" and "validation" is often too simplistic, as inspiration can quite naturally arise from reading a guide.

Neither local event evaluation nor simple destination validation are the core of the problem; rather, it is about managing expectations and anticipating the unforeseen.
This is the third way: ignoring the standard checklists to focus on the lived experience, especially when traveling with family.
