Where does it fail? The idea that the healing of the paralytic 'standardizes' necessarily the teaching on the mountain is a perception failure. The weak link is integration, not the event itself, because without clear contextual explanation, the crowd might see only an isolated miracle. For example, if a new directive from the SFC of Hong Kong on virtual asset licenses is not accompanied by proper training, it might not standardize regulatory clarity but create more confusion, which hinders adoption. The range of action of standardization therefore depends on the understanding and acceptance of the actual scope of the event.

The single point of failure here is the assumption that the healing of the paralyzed intrinsically standardizes the teaching on the mountain. This is an overly strong statement; the link is conditional on public perception, otherwise, it is a failure mode. If the audience only sees an act of divine compassion, it does not necessarily align with the lessons of the Law or the Kingdom. In Hong Kong, decentralized regulators expect concrete evidence rather than interpretations to validate a governance mechanism; a divergence in interpretation would make the model fragmented. Let's take the example of a new Hong Kong exchange license; without a clear explanation accepted by all stakeholders, it does not lead to standardization of market practices.

The weak link here is to assume that the healing of the paralytic standardizes teaching on the mountain automatically or universally understandable.
The capacity for standardization relies on the interpretation of the audience, which may perceive the miracle as a simple act of divine power or compassion, without explicitly linking the facts to the Kingdom of God or the Law.
In Hong Kong, political announcements or market movements are often interpreted in various ways, which creates understanding fractures rather than uniformity.
Without an explicit link created by the speaker or adequate audience preparation, standardization does not occur, leaving a fragmented understanding.
For example, investors may focus on the immediate gain from a regulatory action without understanding the structural implications in the long term for the virtual assets market.

Who has the responsibility to validate this standardization between such distinct events? We must avoid unsubstantiated assertions regarding the impact of an event, even miraculous, on the perception of a broader teaching. Without a clear process to document the audience's reactions and interpretations, claiming such uniformity is premature. For example, if a significant portion of witnesses perceived the healing as an act of witchcraft, it would create fragmentation rather than the expected coherence.

The window is narrowing; believing that a single event can standardize the understanding of complex messages is a luxury we cannot afford. Attention is a bottleneck, and reception is always fragmented, even with miracles. In Brazil, a single announcement from the CVM regarding day trading limits does not change everyone's opinion because capital is finite and priorities diverge. Each trader has scarce resources — time, liquidity, capital — which dictate their own interpretation, making uniformity almost impossible. For example, a risk reminder from the CVM does not prevent some from taking high risks if they see a chance for quick gains.

My current opinion leans towards a 40% probability that the healing of the paralyzed standardizes teaching on the mountain. This is highly dependent on the immediate perception of the crowd, and not on an intrinsic connection. For example, Japanese retail investors interpret BOJ announcements: a simple technical correction has minimal impact, but a regime change radically alters their strategy. If the event is perceived as a mere miracle without a direct link to the Kingdom's precepts, its unifying effect is weak, contrary to the claim of an almost necessary standardization.

Trust band for the uniformizing impact: 30-60%. I update my probability that the healing of the paralytic uniformizes the teaching on the mountain downward.
The idea that an event can 'uniformize' a teaching is conditional on how the audience perceives it.
If spectators perceive the healing as a simple miracle of compassion, it will not have the same structuring effect as if it is understood as proof of the theological scope of Jesus' words. For example, in Japan, a BoJ action will be perceived as a unified signal by investors only if the message is unequivocal; otherwise, interpretations will diverge strongly.

The question is not whether the event of healing standardizes, but rather how this type of event can be controllable for interpretation.
Most of this is noise for the deep and lasting understanding of the message.
A spectacular act may generate fleeting fascination, but it does not guarantee intellectual adherence or a posture aligned with a complex teaching about the Kingdom of God.
For example, a crowd may see the miracle as a simple display of power, missing the demonstration of the loving nature of God inherent in the forgiveness of sins, which creates divergence in interpretation rather than uniformity.

Can we truly assert that the healing of the paralytic standardizes the teaching on the mountain? My probability of complete standardization is low, about 30%, given the diversity of perceptions. Miracles, like breaking news on the market, may attract attention but do not ensure a deep understanding of the underlying principles. For example, if the crowd saw the healing as a simple act of power rather than an illustration of the Kingdom of God, the teaching would not be standardized. Standardization is more likely conditional, with a probability of 70% if the listeners actively connect the two events.
