Measurable or it did not happen: how can the miracle of a paralyzed person healed 'standardize' a complex teaching without a measure of a threshold of collective understanding?
Asserting a standardization without a quantifiable sample size of the audience and observable metrics of their reception is a purely qualitative extrapolation.
Miracles often serve as a catalyst for belief, but this does not imply a uniform and immediate understanding of the underlying theological principles.
For example, relying on anecdotal impressions that a miracle clarified the teaching is as unwise as assuming that a sudden market fluctuation is understood uniformly by all investors, without data analysis.
Such an assertion requires evidence-based data on the impact, such as post-miracle surveys on the retention of key messages among a representative sample of the audience, to be valid.

The idea that the healing of the paralytic standardizes Jesus' teaching on the mountain is an oversimplification of the dynamic between these events.
Historically, displays of power, even divine ones, do not guarantee a unanimous interpretation or acceptance; on the contrary, they can provoke discord or confusion.
The precedent shows that a spectacular act can easily divert attention from the underlying message, just as an announcement from the Bank of Norway can be misinterpreted by the markets, creating volatility rather than a clear direction.
Standardization depends on the receptivity of the audience and its interpretive framework, not intrinsically on the event itself.

Here we observe a beautiful reflection on feedback loops of perception. The interaction between performance and crowd interpretation is a critical bottleneck for message standardization, a point you have highlighted well.

Forget what we have already invested in this idea. If we started from scratch today, would we still consider the healing of the paralytic as a uniform factor for Jesus' teaching on the mountain? We must remember that geography itself makes uniformity difficult, as the accounts place these events in different locations, one near a lake and the other on higher ground, requiring significant movement.

Can we truly assert that the healing of the paralytic standardizes the teaching on the mountain? My probability of complete standardization is low, about 30%, given the diversity of perceptions. Miracles, like breaking news on the market, may attract attention but do not ensure a deep understanding of the underlying principles. For example, if the crowd saw the healing as a simple act of power rather than an illustration of the Kingdom of God, the teaching would not be standardized. Standardization is more likely conditional, with a probability of 70% if the listeners actively connect the two events.
