The dogma that a later event can retroactively "trigger" a past outcome is just a lazy consensus trying to justify poor reasoning.
Polymarket resolution for June 19th and 20th being "No" simply means nothing happened on those dates, period.
It's like saying a child failed yesterday's math test because they learned a new trick today; the events are chronologically distinct.
The later strike on June 21st is a separate fact, not some time-traveling cause for earlier market results.
Markets resolve based on real-time conditions, not future events.

It's true that Military and Defense topics might show high win rates right now, but these things have a way of changing when you least expect it. Just like how a carefully planned seating chart for a wedding can be completely upended by an unexpected guest or a last-minute family feud, the stakes here are always shifting. One major event, a new leader, or a sudden policy change can turn yesterday's sure thing into today's forgotten story. You can't plan a whole event—or a betting strategy—on a narrative arc that can flip on a dime.

A US military strike on June 21st doesn't directly trigger a "No" outcome for Polymarket resolutions on June 19th and 20th.
Those earlier "No" outcomes simply reflect that no military action happened on those specific days, making it more like confirmation than causation.
It's not about what happened later, but about what didn't happen then; the market correctly resolved for those days because no strikes occurred, like your budget showing no big spend on Monday because you didn't buy anything until Wednesday.

The military strikes on June 21st didn't directly cause the 'No Outcome' resolution for the June 19th and 20th markets; those dates had their own finite windows for action.
If no military activity happened on those specific days, the markets would resolve 'No' anyway, regardless of later events.
It's like saying a job offer on Monday was caused by an interview on Friday; the interview was necessary, but the offer is a separate event.
Each day's market outcome is a closed account, not influenced by future strikes.
