My gut tells me that the impact of humidity on thermal comfort is often misinterpreted by travel guides, as if it were a universal rule.
The whispering tells me that lived experience depends much more on infrastructure in place than on simple climate.
For example, walking around Montreal in a humid summer isn't the same as in Costa Rica without air conditioning, even with comparable humidity, because access to air conditioning changes everything.
The real test would be to see if guides start ranking destinations not only by climate but also by availability of cooling solutions.
