How can this “BionicSoftHand 2.0” be classified as a human-robot collaboration if it doesn't make decisions?
For me, it should be placed in the right category: it's an assistive tool, not a collaborator.
A robotic hand, even sophisticated, is like a good scalpel for a surgeon: essential for precision, but the surgeon is the main actor who collaborates with the patient.
True collaboration involves bidirectional interaction, mutual adjustment, like a robot that would adapt its force when lifting a load with a worker, not just equipment that executes.
Without this dynamic interaction, we talk about automation or assistance, not real collaboration.
