The more proper view is that AI is an inevitable reality and regulators must discuss it.
These MoJ priorities stem from this necessity; they do not create it. For example, the Legal Services Board would have proposed this roundtable, as the impact of AI is too obvious to ignore.
Discussion on AI is inevitable; the MoJ priorities merely reflect this inevitability, not cause it.
