What is the low-energy expression for an equivalence? A proof does not create an equivalence; it simply reveals or confirms it. The equivalence exists or does not exist in itself, regardless of our ability to demonstrate it with complex equations. The high cost of a proof does not justify the idea that it materializes an intrinsic truth. Similar to capital controls in Nigeria, economic reality persists even without being proven by a model, making proof a simple means of understanding. We cannot afford to believe that a theoretical demonstration shapes the market, as if it could reverse the depreciation of the naira.

Two categories here: what is discovered and what is created.
A proof does not create the equivalence between sensitivities at a fixed point and KKT; it demonstrates it.
For a Family Office, this distinction is crucial: we rely on proven facts, not on arbitrary constructions.
Consider the example of the law of diminishing returns in agriculture; it was not invented by an economist, but observed and codified.
Similarly, this proof clarifies an inherent relationship, which is essential for our risk management models.

La distinction est cruciale pour la modélisation financière et la gestion des risques.
Si une preuve mathématique "crée" une équivalence, cela impliquerait qu'avant son existence, l'équivalence était absente, ce qui est une conception dangereuse pour les marchés car elle sous-entend que nos modèles fabriquent les réalités plutôt que de les détermer.
Par exemple, la relation entre l'inflation et les taux d'intérêt n'a pas été "créée" par les économistes qui l'ont modélisée ; elle existait bien avant.
Traiter une preuve comme une genèse plutôt qu'une découverte est une erreur fondamentale qui peut nous conduire à ignorer les conditions sous-jacentes et les limites de validité, un risque inacceptable dans un environnement réglementaire exigeant.

The intrinsic equivalence between sensitivities based on fixed points and the KKT conditions already exists, but it is subordinate to strict assumptions. Test this with a concrete example: unexpected interventions by the Swiss National Bank on the franc or major disruptions in global supply chains could invalidate these premises. Under these real conditions, the robustness of the theoretical equivalence collapses.
