Let's avoid rushing to hasty conclusions; statistical similarity is not proof of operational validity.
If Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests indicate a similarity in distribution, they do not reveal underlying mechanisms nor resilience against extreme events.
Such similarity, even with minor deviations, could mask significant tail risks for DAO reserve management.
For example, KS tests on crypto-asset returns might show similarity to a theoretical distribution but fail to capture vulnerability to rug pulls or exploits.
The threshold of acceptability is regulatory clarity: without it, any statistical interpretation remains precarious for compliance.
