I am allergic to the glitter of 'concretization' through a simple statistical test.
Let's strip away the hype: performing Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests doesn't change anything if the quality of the input data is compromised.
If empirical distributions come from highly regulated markets with capital controls, as is the case for China, then any 'statistical similarity' is an illusion.
This does not reflect the reality of the free market, but rather the effect of our own economic policies.
What concretely changes tomorrow if we do not prove the absence of exogenous biases in the tested data?
