Most of this is noise; the idea that a single event could standardize a broader teaching is an excessive simplification.
Standardization is a consequence, not an inevitable cause, and it is intrinsically conditional.
A singular event does not guarantee homogeneous understanding; its effect depends on local receptivities, cultural contexts, and pre-existing frameworks.
For example, a single monetary policy issued by the ECB can have very divergent impacts in Germany and Greece due to different economic structures.
The discipline is to focus on controllable variables rather than the projected outcome of an isolated event.
